Welcome to speclang.dev, home to Michael Yue’s random projects and shenanigans and such.

I’m writing this as I’m recovering from Covid. Yeah, I really did make this website while I’m sick, there’s nothing much else to do besides sit around and not think about anything, besides watching whatever multitudes of content there is on Netflix or Disney+.

So to get my mind moving a little bit, I’ve made this website, from scratch, it’s made with Tailwind and Astro with some sprinklings of React in there, but it’s home and I coded everything from the ground up, no blog templates for frameworks used.

I’m hoping that I’ll get back to more productive things next week, maybe a much more substantive project to work on. I have a couple ideas I’ve got while looking for work, so that’ll definitely occupy my time.

I’ve been anonymous for a while now, and I’m kind of essentially “coming out” to the world that I and this weird internet persona are one in the same. Of course, there are significant risks when taking that step, but at this point, I think it’s worth it to show people that I’m not just some person behind a computer spamming job sites.
